At pawz we believe that every pet deserves a natural, organic, tasty diet, free from artificial additives, colourings and preservatives.

We believe their food should be prepared from the same high quality ingrediants that we ourselves would choose to eat, and that it should be carefully balanced to provide optimum health and vitality.

Nor do we think it's unreasonable that there should be a good variety for you both to choose from – after all, we all have different tastes.

While we're at it, lets support the British farmer and source locally. Not to mention that if we can help the environment by using unmodified ingrediants grown without harmful chemicals, that's even better. We may not be able to change the world on our own, but it's definitely well worth trying.

And don't forget to leave room for a few treats and toys, because everyone's got to have a little fun!

Barking mad?

No, we're not! You are what you eat, and this applies to your pet too. A holistic diet is all about balance, and by providing pure, wholesome nutrition to support your pet's internal biological system, the body will look after itself.

Over or under-feeding, poor quality ingrediants, badly balanced foods, highly processed products, poor digestibility; all are factors that contribute to toxins building up in the body, resulting in poor health.

Nutrition is one of the key factors in attaining optimum health and well-being, and a healthy animal is more disease resistant. You simply can't beat Mother Nature.

How did we choose?

We spoke to people up and down the country, whilst our pets have proved willing volunteers in trialing an assortment of samples. And in the end it was the smaller (often family-run) businesses that impressed us most.

The animals loved the food and thrived on it, while we discovered some amazing people dedicated to providing premium natural alternatives to the options offered in large chains and supermarkets. Their passion and knowledge has inspired our support.

The ranges are not mass produced and are manufactured using human grade (and wherever possible, free range) British meats, together with non GM organic ingrediants. They are free of additives, gluten, beef and diary product to help relieve food intolerance and allergic reactions.

Anything Else?

Well yes. We know that it's not just about the food, so we're also going to stock toys, leads, collars, beds and accessories. There's are a lot of hours to fill with playing and exercising in between the eating and sleeping...

To keep our carbon paw-print as small as possible, we've tried to use local, natural or recycled products wherever we can.

And we've learnt a few things from those lovely suppliers, so if you want some nutritional advice, we'll gladly help.
